Dire Straits Paws Rescue Team has a mission to save domestic animals and give them a chance for health, love, and a new life. The rescue team's focus is on saving animals in kill shelters scheduled to be euthanized. We foster the animals in our own homes and travel all along the east coast to find placement for the animals, out of our own pockets. Dire Straits Paws fosters and takes care of all dogs/cats (including boarding, food, vet, vaccinations, etc.) while actively looking for permanent placement.
