You may wonder, why us? Well, we’ll glady answer!

✅ Pet-a-tet is an American non-profit organization founded in 2019 by Lisa and Alex.

✅ We’ve rescued over 1900 dogs and 1200 cats, creating more than 3000 happy families.

✅ We create new families not only for animals from the USA but also internationally from Serbia, Montenegro, Ukraine, Estonia, and South Korea.

✅ We’ve built our own shelter in Montenegro to help even more animals. It was a challenging journey, but we succeeded.

✅ Before adoption, all animals undergo quality treatment in vet clinics, vaccination, and spaying/neutering (if they’re old enough). We provide them with quality food and monitor their health through tests throughout the year.

✅ We have a quarantine zone located within the shelter building, where we place new animals until we ensure they are entirely healthy and can interact with our other residents.

✅ Inside the shelter, we’ve equipped a warm area for cats, as they handle temperature changes poorly.

✅ We care for our animals post-adoption, asking potential owners to fill out a form, ensuring they have enough time for their pets to avoid stress. Please approach this with understanding.

✅ We personally handle the transportation of animals, prioritizing their comfort and safety.

✅ We’ve created a website where people can share photos of their pets and build a community for new connections. Most importantly, you can seek our help by posting on our website an ad about a animal in need. If a match is found in another country, we’ll help them create a family and organize transportation.
