The title itself can suggest that I might sometimes have doubts about my current state of affairs. Well we do have seven dogs living with us under the same roof and, at least once a day, the feeling of normalcy is leaving me and I find myself completely perplexed and overwhelmed by the fact that I have 7 barking, hyper active creatures follow me to the every corner of our house. I am never alone, not even in bathroom. At least one of the pups manages to squeeze itself into the room to participate in whatever I am doing there. The rest of them are anxiously awaiting behind the closed door. It looks like they think that their master was swollen by scary toilet monster and the sheer sight of me opening the door from inside make them celebrate my miraculous release as if they have not seen me for days. Basically every time you find a corner in your house where your dogs can not observe you, gives your pups an opportunity to celebrate your fresh appearance as if you were some godlike creature descending from the sky’s into their otherwise mundane existence.
We all saw a happy dog greeting it’s master. Multiply it by seven, add a splash of pure jealousy between them, sprinkle it with competitive enthusiasm and add a soundtrack of pure cacophony of barking hysteria. Well that is when I , or my wife, or any other person for that matter, enter the house, step out the bathroom or just simply invite them to join us for a walk or a meal.
Nothing that I have described so far seems normal. Agree, but there is more to this.
